1. Pilots seat repairs are all finished. All the components have been assembled together and with the exception of the arm rest squabs and the shoulder harness attachment and release mechanism, the seat is ready for installation.

2. The Steel components for the crew entry door have been prepped and painted in the appropriate colours. Replacement plug made for operating handle.

3. Main hydraulic valve overhaul begun with the overhaul of the selector levers.

4. Latch pins refitted to ammo box lids.

5. Trailing aerial winch mount reassembled with all salvaged components refitted. Micarta clamp blocs and mast cleaned and revarnished. still missing some parts.

6. Cockpit heater box has been reassembled with the butterfly valve fitted with the connecting link to the exit door.

7. The elevator/rudder differential unit has been rebuilt with all new bearings.

8. Elevators are almost complete with some minor work required to the tip on one unit. Still require trim tabs which will be done in October.

Works has concentrated on finishing the join up process and have now painted the splice joints where the two halves meet.

The floors have all been completed and painted and were ready for final installation and gluing.

The rear bulkhead that goes in the end of the fuselage after the halves are joined has been trial fitted as have all the fin and elevator attach plates and the tailwheel trunion hinge points. The rear bulkhead was ready for gluing and screwing but needed painting inside first.

The canopy frame assy. has been trial fitted also and can now be attached once the fuselage is fabric covered.
